My dream was you, your dream was me,
Though you waited oh-so patiently,
I was always living with my heart tightly locked,
When I told you I thought I loved you, you were certainly shocked.

Dreaming with my eyes open wide,
I gave you all my love I had inside,
Never giving up on you,
I still believe my dream will come true.

People said we shoulda been,
You had hoped we coulda been,
Now I wish we woulda been,
I hope with these words, we still can.

The dance, althogh it's far away,
I so hope there will come a day,
When you can see me for more than before,
And love me, absotively, posolutely, for sure.
