I Can Believe
I can Believe
I Can Believe
In the starry night sky, man's many dreams flow.
My wish, to be true, weighs inside my soul.
To be near once more, to comfort and hold
one for whom I care.
My dream is of you, of serenity and laughter,
of one with a pure heart of gold.
Able to be tried and true, even to those who have caused pain.
Though you may never know how,
you have touched the lives of many, and you go on.
A special being indeed.
While flaws may be, all are nothing
in the light of thy understanding and caring.
To me, my perfect friend has appeared.
Events in the past matter not.
The future, to behold, with deeds and desires.
One whom can listen and aid.
A difference will be made by thy love and compassion.
If a first night star may grant a wish to me,
true to be. If only for a single eternity.
I can believe.
My friend could be mine someday
Forever and True.
In Spirit
In Mind
In Heart
In Love
Two as One. . .
With me, Always.
