Another Man's Eyes
I saw your picture online.
I felt a smile cross my face.
I saw a picture of style.
A picture of grace.
You were my love.
You were my life.
You brought me peace
When my life was filled with strife.
I talked to you always.
And loved it all.
Thinking the whole time
What i wouldn't give for a phone call.
I started at my job.
we began to talk less.
All of the sudden,
My life was filled with stress.
Then I saw her.
A temptress With a beautiful smile.
I couldn't believe it.
Was it my love at trial?
I chose her over you.
But my thoughts never came true.
After a talk with a friend.
I began to see.
The evil that a woman can hold.
The evil a woman can be.
I turned away from her.
Hoping that it would be safe.
I turned to you. And begged for forgiveness.
Now we are together again.
Together as one.
And now i see. The damage I have done.
I found that your love I cannot buy.
And i am sorry. I must have saw her.
Through another man's eyes.
(Written as a small thank you and I love you to my new love.
And only love. Also this is more or less an apology. Thank you
for allowing me to return to you. I love you. Always.)
