There is a boundary in a relationship
  That attraction and affection sweeps one across.
Beyond this exists a place
  Where one sees the physical beauty
As a mask for the inner beauty;
  Where one sees what lies behind the eyes
And hungers for it;
  Where one listens to words that are less noticed
Than the joy that the sound of a voice brings;
  Where skin becomes no barrier
To the glow from the touch within;
  Where who we are is not measured by names;
But by caressees, by textures, and sighs.
