The Kiss

the kiss is the touch upon your face,
the emotions that run within your lace,
the kiss creates the feel deep inside,
something your heart is unable to hide,
the kiss makes the words speak,
a need for your soul to seek,
the kiss is lust in desire,
underneath for someone to admire,
the kiss offers comfort for the bare,
resistance only for those without care,
the kiss is tender for the ache,
the pain too many forsake,
the kiss is for love to keep,
a joy never to seep,
the kiss belongs to affection,
a path with true direction,
the kiss can steal,
passions to seal,
the kiss can heal,
the hurt we feel,
the kiss often lies,
many a night in goodbye's,
and the one never to miss,
is the love you cherish, in the kiss.
