-that is the question I ask
how
-is what I wonder about you

did you Really think that a 
box of candy would do the trick?!
I sit here crying over what's done
these last ten years and you think 
a smile and sweetss will erase all
that from a child's mind memory?
well forget it!  I', almost through
with you and your games of shots
and running from your wife
the sanctity of marraige is special
to me at least, unlike you
believe me when I say I won't
make the same mistakes you do
my life will be better
you watch and you see
me and my family united 
to make up for what you
took away from me
now this being Valentine's Dday
I accept your meanigless gift
but you won't see me smile
-only say a plite thanks that one
-not you-taught me to do.
