Signs

Lately her actions bewilder me.
Her explanations do not satisfy.
The tone in her voice say more than the words.
The look in her eyes……something's off.

She offers little comfort.
My mind talks of one story or another.
My heart fears the worst.
Hurting, I remained confused.

Signs are everywhere.
But I fail to truly know the meaning.
Could this be the beginning of the end?
Please God. No.

I love her too much.
