Our World
How foolish are my dreams.
Things are never as they seem.
You wonder why I cannot you tell...
Knocked off my cloud where I could undersatand, I fell
Into a world of confusion, without a beam...
No light. Save that of which reflect in myself.
A world where my emotions and reality wage war.
Eternity is forever; forever is love.
But relationships are not eternity; nor forever in time and above.
This is what the tongues of wisemen say.
If you don't want your heart broke, then careful attention pay.
But what makes a wise man wise? My emotions are unlike a dove.
A bird at peace; at the first glimpse of danger can fly away,
From a world where my emotions and wisemen wage war.
Society tells me that I am a fool if I do not see
That not forever together be you and me.
I know this...my ignorance will not allow it as true.
Perhaps because I do not know the true feelings of you.
This constant burning fire is now taking its fee.
So quick you must tell me what you want of us two.
I don't have to be in a place where with one another my feelings wage war.
I am at a place where my emotions run deep.
From my eyes tears of joy and happiness, and love seep.
Now you know why I cannot you tell.
I do not want to face the pain of hell.
My feelings, outwards to you they creep.
Now you have my feelings upon which to dwell.
Help me. I'd rather be at our world where we wage love.
