I pray to hear the soothing tone in her voice again.

Time has passed since I looked in her eyes.
When next she looks upon me
How will she be?
Adoring or adverse?
I pray to see the affection in her eyes again.

So long ago since I held her hand.
When next she is beside me
How will she be?
Warm or weary?
I pray to feel her cuddling hand slip into mine again.

Seems like forever since I kissed her.
When next we are face to face
How will she be?
Desirous or distant?
I pray to sense the electricity pass between our lips again.

It's been awhile since we made love.
When next she is in my embrace
How will she be?
Rapturous or rigid?
I pray to experience her ecstasy again.

I've counted the minutes since we were together.
When next she is in my presence
How will she be?
Loving or leaving?
I pray to receive her love again.
