If I could live the night over
I know I wouldn't change a thing
But to tell you more how I cared
Call me crazy, say what you will
But I know you felt it, I know
You can run, and you can run far
Yet there's no forgetting and no pretending
If all we shared is one night
Then one night it will be, that will last forever
You asked if I wanted to see the world with you
And though I may never, I will
For I will always be there with you somehow
And there's no escaping it for it is real
This feeling inside though it fades, it grows
And I keep wishing someday you'll see
See how much we could have been to one another
I could have loved you, in my own way I do
For you showed me what it felt like to care
I will never regret our night
And I know I will relive it, it will never end
Your words may prove to have been empty
But I will always remember them as if you meant them
So wherever you are, wherever you go, remember me
And the night we shared, on the balcony, by the pool and in the bed
For I will never forget
