I thought maybe I saw something that no one else saw
that maybe I was the only one that could see the good in you
and I thought for a moment
that maybe that's the way you really are
and how great it would be if you were,
if you weren't as bad as everyone said

But I was wrong
I was just fooling myself
You really are how everyone says
and I can't defend you, anymore
The images I saw were only make believe
