Mirror, Mirror...

Won't you please
just wake the hell up
from your sleepy denial,
and look in the mirror
as closely as you can.
Just admit to the reflection
once and for *f'ing* all
the thing we both know.
Hearts don't lie but
heads often do; to
protect the vulnerable heart
from falling back asleep
because the pain is much too great
and the fear much too strong.
Just wake the hell up, alright?
And give us the chance
to make you happier than
we've ever been in all
our years, and then some.
