Enfolded in my Soul
Last night as I lay with my heart pressed against your back, I was somewhere I never thought I would be.
Large hands holding small ones.
You were strength and warmth.
You slept sound and peaceful because you were wrapped in my love, enfolded in my soul.
The ecstacy that we had made consumed us and engulfed the real world and let us for one brief night sleep safetly in each others arms.
In a place all our own.
In a time I will never forget.
And a memory of the first time I awoke to mornings glorious light lying next to the man I love so.
