memories crystal snapshots

        met by the pool
remember?  I didn't know you were sitting there in the shadows
with an Atlanta Journal Constitution, pretending to read
   and then on my way back to the room, i put on the 
michigan state t-shirt,  soaking wet 

and I saw you... and i laughed and you laughed... and i hit you... and we smiled
and we were so comfortable

        remember sitting in the parking lot of the hotel... in tevas no makeup
hadn't brushed my teeth since 4am... but we were so comfortable

           we fit. we did. we do. it was perfect.

turner field in july when mark mcgwire was at bat
friday night... you came to pick me up, early... and said you couldn't find
anyone who could go, since i was in town, let's go...

.......and we did and oh god .... it was holy... the church of baseball and
I could worship your thigh with my gaze.. and i met your brother and we laughed... 20th row.... perfect seats

           and then taking me home you admitted your friends were mad all of them wanted to go... you wanted me with you... once in a lifetime night...


            and we fit. we did. and it was perfect.

the moon in august, and your body and mine... all night... and my friend and my lover became one... many nights

            and we fit. we did. and it was perfect.

i'm blessed, with these pictures and you are too.. and i'm blessed to have a lover a friend who will never forget..... never could forget. perfection.
