You keep lighting me up
  like a carnival
with your kisses
     your hugs
your wild, healing love
  I'm high above it all
    on a ferris wheel
 turning, turning
  burning up
    alive
to feel the wind
 and see the gaudy colors
    all around
inhaling the sound of my name on your lips
   surrounded by BLISS
   this is what I know
         of love

  because my family
      lives in a black and white world
    our mad swirl of colors beyond the rainbow
