To Start Over
She packed her bags at 4:30 in the morning
And left.
She left a world of mistrust, lies and disapointment,
In search of a world of hope and opportunity
Her journey would be difficult and time consuming--
Trying to find a personal peace
In a chaotic world
But with persistence
She would achieve it
(a piece of the world
just for her)
She would cut old ties
In hopes of making new ones
She threw away everything she had,
And all she had known
Hoping she would have enough strength,
And big enough dreams
To start over
