Everlasting

Although it was only for a few days,
I remember you in these ways:
your soft touch;
that I miss very much
your blue eyes;
clear as todays sky
your smile made me melt away;
feeling like the April rain
the flowers you gave me for all to see-
still sit on the table waiting for me.

Although we cannot be together
those days I will treasure forever
and later I will find a way 
to be with you on Valentine's day
but until then I'll finish writing this
and seal it with a kiss
for you to put on your list
of all the things we've ever missed.
