Friend in love

The moment I saw you
Thought you'll only be my friend.
I never thought my feelings for you
Will go stronger each passing day.

It all started as a joke
that somehow became for real.
I'm not pretty sure when and why it happened
But one thing's certain - I'm falling!

Whenever we're together
unexpressed feelings overcome me.
Not one second is wasted
'coz your you, and I love you the way you are!

I may be stupid loving you secretly
But it's better that way than losing you entirely.
Our friendship means so much to me - 
it's the best thing that ever happened to me.

If by chance you'll find someone,
someone, who will someday, own your heart,
Please don't forget that you still have a FRIEND:
