doubt it

to dream a dream, 
of you, 
is so wonderful, but painful.
at times,
it is the greatest feeling,
i have ever felt.
but...
...that feeling turns sour,
when,
i realize that,
all i have are memories of you.
that,
is when the dream changes,
to a neverending nightmare.
some would say,
that's much better than having nothing,
to dream of at all.
but i really doubt it.
