Until I met you

In days of the past,
I believed my life fulfilled,
I convinced myself I was happy,
believed it to be true.
I thought I was in love,
until I met you.
Things began to happen,
and my mind was confused.
I lost all sense of direction,
the day I met you.
Getting to know you
was like snow in summertime;
a new, unique experience,
but wonderful and exciting too.
Now it's as though
I'm the king of happiness,
because that's how
you make me feel;
loved, cherished, special,
and oh so very happy.
Never was my life this wonderful
this delightful and intriguing,
until I met you.
