WHY ME?

For years
Alone
I stood by myself
Waiting to make 
One new friend.

For years
On end
I have thought about
Committing suicide
Because I had no "true" friends.

For many years
I have been sad, depressed,
And lonely because not
One girl would want to go
Out with me,
Or so I thought.

Then she came into my life.
As a friend, she introduced me
To her friends and as a girlfriend,
She loved me for who I really was
On the inside.

But as fast as she came into my life,
she soon walked out of my life 
And into his;
Breaking my heart into a million pieces
And leaving me with my eyes full of tears.
