Just thought I'd drop a line to you and your contributors.
I really like all that I read here. I wish I had the talent to
write poetry as well as everyone here does. I think it would
help me to sort out all the conflicting feelings of my heart.
But alas, everytime I try to sit down and write something,
it just is a bunch of rambling thoughts.
So I guess I will remain in awe of your talents and
someday, someone will have put into words the feelings
in my soul.
In the meantime, I can relate to a little bit of every one of
your contributions on here.
Thanks again for putting it up for everyone to admire.

Has misty velvet rainwater publised a book yet?
I'd encourage it.
what great works are displayed here, and thanks Kirk for
putting me on the front of the list in the September issue
(kinda late, i know, but better late than never)
People really don't need to thank me when my editorial fancy
selects them for the front page of the Digest-- I should be thanking them.

Good evening. I`ve seen your page after quite some time.
It looks real nice.respectible too. I`ve sent one of my new poems
(with a spelling mistake, as usual, so it will be nice if you could fix it).
hope you`ll like it.
roei.

Hey,
I've submitted stuff here before and it didn't get
on the new blender issue. Guess I'm going to have to try harder.
I just love this page. I like the stories and poems. I have a
question, what happen to the past heart on sleeve entries that
didn't make the cut? Great page.
§ Leopard §
Any poem that doesn't 'make the cut' is still given a permanent
home at the "Heart on Sleeve" corner, as long as the work is about
romance and has reasonable intentions.

what I like about this page? You can feel it... sometimes
your eyes glide over the smooth surfaces, others times, the
raw edges leave scrapes, but never scars. You can taste the
tears, and see the smiles. Thank you all <s>

ok, now i'm pleading...PLEASE hit return at the end of your line.
there are some of us out here that won't read even the best
written prose if we have to scroll a mile to the right and
back to read it.

I really enjoy reading the poems that people have written.
Finally someone can actually write in words the way that
we actually feel. Keep up the good work.

Angela, thanks for your compliments and encouragement.
I do have another Spanish poem, it's a terribly filthy
joke, and (sorry, Spanish-impaired Blender-ers) way too
idiomatic to translate faithfully.
I'll submit to Kirk's judgement on posting it, but
send me your email address and I'll send it to you
privately.
Thanks again,
Carlos (crubinstein@crl.com)

I'd like to congratulate you for having created this
website. I had so much fun reading over the poems and
proses submitted. I can't wait for the next issue.
What I like the most is Kurt Vonnegut's Hell To Get Along
With.
Keep it up and more power.

Much of the poetry and prose on the Blender captures the
essence of love and romance beautifully. But for those of
us attempting to bring romance off of the web and into our
"real" lives, have you any suggestions for how to create a
truly romantic experience within the context of daily life?
Although you'd probably want to try your ideas out on someone
before sending your readers off to make fools of
themselves, wouldn't you k?
Probably... I've found that a homemade spaghetti dinner with red wine and
candlelight can do wonders, even for the non-kitchenly-inclined.

I just want Blender readers to know, that that last one
I submitted, "I wonder" is not evil like it kinda sounds
near the end. It's a very happy and loving poem. Thanks
for visiting the blender, and thanks for creating it Kirk.
Happy New Year Everyone.
