I sit looking at your picture,
I look at it and wonder how,
I wonder how you can be standing there with me,
I remember that picture in my mind,
I remember standing there holding you,
I remember your arms around me,
Holding me in your loving embrace,
I look in your eyes,
Blue as the sea,
Then a light flashed,
Capturing our embrace in a picture,
That was then and not now,
How I long to be back in that embrace,
Holding you,
I guess that picture show what has been,
We'll just have to make the future better than that picture.
