Forgotten Hope

I can't take the pain anymore.
I don't want see what life has in store.
I know I will never feel your love,
that is heaven-sent from above.
I know I'll never be in her place.
This is a fact that I must face.
I can't pretend you would ever care.
You never even saw me there!
I can't go on another day
if you treat the same way.
I hate the way you pass me by!
You'll never know how much I've cried.
This secret of love I can never tell
is putting me through earthly hell.
I have to find out some escape,
before it comes to far too late.
