I was like yeah, but he was all no

I considered you a friend
until you totally changed that
you were like lets go for a walk
and i was all okay
then it got darker
and it was chilly
but you were warm
so we sat
really close
and you were all romantic
and i was like where's this coming from?
then an hour like passes
and i was all we should get back
and you were like alright i guess
so we were walking through the forest 
alone, but together
and you like held my hand and said
you were glad i was here
because it was dark
and scary outside
and then you were like are you cold?
and i was like yeah, i'm freezing
and you go here take my coat
and i said thanks
so that was where we got kind of lost
but i didn't mind because sometimes
we'd stop walking 
and you'd hold me tight
my head against your chest
but eventually we made it back to the campfire
we were on a school trip you see
and our teacher was mad
and thought we were making out or something
but we weren't
i swear
the next morning it was nothing had happened
and i was all what did i do
              what went wrong
              what the hell happened?
so we got back to school on monday
and i gazed at the ack of your head
all period long
and then the bell rang
and i walked over to you
and your head was down
and you were singing 'the impression that i get'
by the bosstones
and i asked you
               what happened
               what was up?
and you were like i'll call you later and we can talk 
so you called
and we talked
and you told me you like me
so i was like want to go out?
and you were all no
and in my head i was all thanks for leading me on
and all i love him
but i guess i really didn't
but yeah, i do
