What are you gonna do when you see that look in his eyes
of hope and forever, that I couldn’t discuise

I wanted more and our troubles began

of longing to say what he feels inside
are you using the same lines on him that you used on me
knowing that if he get serious you’ll set him free

of happines longed for, of bright shinny skies
you courted me and wooed me to a fevered pitch
and turned and ran as soon as my emotions twiched

the same way I did hoping that you would love me to
will you become distant and begin you search again
