Someday

It's almost a year now,
Since we last broke up.
My heart is still mending,
And the process is tough.

We've become closer friends,
than we ever have before.
Now my heart keeps crawling to you,
And you keep shutting the door.

You lie to me,
and break all the promises you make.
I suffer all of this,
And then I start to hate.

You've broken my heart,
too many times.
I confront you about this,
You say you've caused no crime.

I cry and get mad,
But it doesn't any good.
I'd like to put you in my place,
This I wish I could.

You could feel all the pain,
And the heartaches I've dealt.
