Sometimes I feel as if you and I are the only one's alive
Standing alone on a darkened road in each other's arms
Gazing wistfully into each other's eyes
This weekend when I told you I loved you
We stood alone in our own private world thinking of no other
Loving one another
Me and my own special girl
This weekend I discovered the meaning of serenity and a loving peace
A wistful little island
Owned by only you and me
Our future together holds many tribulations and joys
Forseeing a happiness held in the minds
Of many little girls and boys
When I told you I loved you it was a feeling I hold true to my heart
But when I stared into your eyes on that very first night
I knew I could hold you forever
Right from the very start
Just a little something to express to you just how I really feel
When I think of your mischievous little smile
I know in my heart that what I'm feeling is truly real
