Blessed

Although it just may be,
I'll never again touch your skin.
Nor have the chance once more, to look into,
what I consider, the most beautiful eyes
I've ever seen.
I feel, I have already been, truly blessed,
with these memories of both and more,
I hold here safe, and dearly cherished,
deep within my heart.
I will carry them with me, for all time.
