What's the point?

What's the point in smiling when tomorrow tears will replace 
your laughter?
What's the point in giving when the one you adore won't give love in 
return?

I gave you my time.
But you couldn't even take the time to say goodbye properly.

I gave you my heart.
But you gave me nothing in return.

What's the point in kissing when those kisses are meaningless
and unimportant?
What's the point in remembering when he doesn't even remember my name?

I wished upon his star but my wishes were left unanswered.
I tried to soar with him but he left me to fly on my own when my wings
haven't even fully grown yet.

What's the point in loving when no one is loving me in return?
Tell me, what's the point?
