untitled

if i were an arachnid--
   hourglass shaped spider
i'd open you Indian Legends--
crater-sized mud hole blasting open
primitive world dripping web--my thread
   i'd spew starred skies
lighting your path
pulling you from my bellied womb--
   pulling you through
my web.
guiding you down my threads
tangling your constructed, sinewy arms in my jointed, hairy legs
   silking your wise child eyes.
oh ancient boy--
folding you in silk beds
   i'd cradle you
your creation
milky moistness
   you and me--
hourglass shaped spider
building you
   iridescent, blue-coppered armor
building from blue-green bottle flied bodies
you learn the tricks of the trade--
web maze
  testing the strong armor
  i am waking--
diamond eyes missing--
   sky spewing sun
lighting
coupling--maidens creeping from mud blasting holes
you teaching their first sleepy steps--
   steps soon frenzied
ripping night sparkled thread wombs
hourglass shaped spider.
