Can you see the lie,
Whisper your faith to the wind,
It keeps well there.
He watches your steps,
He observes your face,
He wants to sway you with his words.
Once he was deep, now he'll be shallow,
Facing this destiny which was no to be his.
Strong words can bring forth strong emotion,
But only those who feel the way he does
Can truly feel his emotion.
His love is hard, wrought through time
To ever torture him.
Leave the past to haunt his conscience
Because he controls his with an iron will.
