You and me...and a screen,
How could life be so mean?
I see your picture in my dreams,
Boy, I feel like I could scream,
Knowing you're so far away,
Wondering if we'll meet some day,
Having the freedom to explore,
These feelings we've found and maybe more,
They grow each time I talk to you
I'm hoping you feel the same way that I do,
Falling for you with each passing word,
Sometimes it almost seems absurd,
Not having known you very long,
But I'm really glad you came along,
Into my world of cyber space,
Someday I wish to touch your face,
And look so deep within your eyes,
To have these feelings only multiply.
You and me...and a screen,
How could life be so mean?
