GRATEFUL TO MY HEART
What were the chances,
in a lifetime of uncertainties,
that in finally returning
to something I loved
so vast as the sea,
that there I would meet you,
the love of my life --
Something . . .
Some greater, higher power had to be working here.
I am grateful to my heart
for recognizing it . . .
My heart, my life's guardian . . .
Again, it has not failed me
when you heart and words have said
"Soulmate"
to me across a great distance.
