that a broken relationship could become so much?

Who would have guessed
that broken hearts could heal as one?
 
Who would have guessed
that your frienship would fill the hole
in my heart that I've had for so long?

Who would have guessed 
that your touch as my friend
could be more satisfying than the touch of a lover?

Who would have guessed 
that black was white
that we were wrong the first time
that THIS was how we were meant to be?
