remember when?

remember when times were comfortable?
and everything seemed okay?
when we could run like children.
and waste our day away.
yet days now seem lonely. 
and the sun hardly ever shines.
so many times i find myself
remembering better times
do you remember how  good it felt to hold my hand and heart so near?
do you remember the first time i love you was whispered in your ear?
can you remember us walking and me grinning and scolding you at the same time?
do you remember how my eyes burned  and how brightly they did shine? 
do you remember all that pain?
that still seems so new after each realiztion i no longer have you. 
deep inside my heart and locked behind a door screams a little voice let me love you once more.
