broken rhythm

took my voice to a music shop
sold my voice for a trick or two
never mattered anyway
if i could never reach you
smashed my phone yesterday
it never stopped ringing yes it cut the
silence with a pair of scissors to
my-
sigh
and the rivers were flowing
the rivers were flowing down down down
into red pools
collecting at my feet.
well it all went away with a bottle
of headache medicine but i've never
felt better spinning round a Roller Rink
yes well i left my Boots by the kitchen
door didn't want to dirty up the
brand-new floor
clean it up with some Mr Clean-
i went shopping yesterday
found a new phone that never rings
i don't know what i'm looking for
maybe i've gone blind
maybe i've gone blind
maybe i just don't want to see
saw your shadow in my room...
now the snow
is dirty seems Nothing goes unTouched
these days well you've got Nothing
on me officer do you have any
change?? i found me a brand-new
husband he takes care of his-
i've know him for too long now he
needs to visit some sort of Doctor
cause he's sick i knew it-
it got so cold
i lived inside a mountain for ten thousand
years while he probed the clubs
of LA for some cheap Dime Wine
let's have a good time and i
Burned all my clothes and i tore them up
and i -
i saw you drowning i pushed him in and i
drowned him but the wedding ring
clogged the drain so i called
Mr Clean
so i sat polishing my
Brand-new motorcycle i never
planned to use it but i
planned to ride on it
But the engine stalled before i
drifted too deep and so i went
to a ranch and bought some dressing
and i came back home to the
Silent telephone and my bottle of
Mr Clean and my-
i went out the next day and i made out
on the first date with some guy who wasn't that hot but if i closed
my eyes...
maybe it was because this guy he knew me so well one word ignited me
one word could set me free-
he learned me beautiful
rhythm at the music shop were i
found my voice and i called out for him
i cried and i cried-
he had beautiful rhythm even when i drowned him
in my Rivers when i pushed him in
and i pushed him deep and i pushed him
and i pushed i drowned him and i fell.
(maybe his rhythm wasn't that good after all.)
