Vampire's Ghost

A rose quartz garnish
For my brain
Before you take a bite.

You dive for my heart,
Grab a vein,
And then ignore my plight.

Tangle your fingers
In my mane
And then just hold on tight.

You rock my body
Make it plain
The flame is not that bright.

Still you lose yourself,
Go insane,
And grip me with your might.

Your body shudders,
Your limbs strain
And fill me with your white.

As you roll off me
Morning rain
Begins to bleach the night.

Eyes drizzle as well,
Foggy pain,
I am too weak to fight.

And so I watch you
Turn again
As my room admits the light.
