Visions of Her

Day in and day out, concentration is difficult to do
My friends constantly ask me what it is that is making me act this way
How I can remove even the very slightest thought of her?
If I could only think of just one way
One way to push aside my dream filled images of her
 - A silhouette that dances across the endless plains of my imagination
I try arduously, but cannot
For every second I breathe only leads back to another thought of her
Many a day and through endless nights,
I attempt to withstand my emptiness without her
I cannot because of this spell she has cast upon my soul
Could it be her eyes? Hair? Face? Smile? Her schoolgirl laugh?
Or is it her inner beauty that words cannot describe?
All I know is that the combination of all her attributes
intensifies my desires for her closeness and the unconditional love she gives
But always in the end,
The end where she and I are together at last,
I will surrender to all of my feelings.
