Just a glance

Watched you walk by today..
I did not say anything to you...
Did you feel my eyes burn into you?
Did you hear my heart beat for you?
Did you see me flush with embarrassment for my thoughts of you?
I want you to notice me so much...
I want you to take me in your arms, 
holding me tenderly...never letting go
I want to hear you say that I am the one you've been looking for
longing for...
But it's not meant to be...
It's just a wish my heart makes...
I go back to what I was doing before you walked by...
A momentary lapse of reason, 
a solitary fantasy..never to be realized
