Loving You

Why do I feel the way I do?
The truest answer to that is you.
It may be hard for you to believe,
But I'm sure that my heart does not deceive.
I love you more than you will ever know,
And with everyday my love for you only seems to grow.
The way you laugh, the way you smile,
I must confess it drives me wild.
I wonder one day could it be?
If simple dreams could turn into reality?
If you were mine I'd kiss your soft skin so fair,
And run my fingers through your long blonde hair.
I would bring joy and laughter into your life.
Making you happy would become my strife.
I would hold you in my arms and ease your fears.
Living without you almost brings me to tears.
I know that you and I could never be,
And that you could never consider loving me.
But even though this may be true,
You must remember that I will always love you.
