the fatal "The End"
Who would have thought the word "friend"
could feel so much
like a stake in the heart
Who would have thought it would end
so soon
felt like a flash in the pan
Who would have thought two hearts
could be so far away
after being that close
Who would have thought she could fool herself
that easily
into thinking it would never end
Who would have thought
