IF WE HAD KNOWN EACH OTHER EARLIER WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT HAVE MADE?
Of course I would have known true love at a younger age and my innocence
and purity would not have been assaulted. I would have known the identity
of my soul mate all through my childhood and would have never had to spend
a weekend sad and alone or shed a single lonely tear. My life would have
been perfect from the start, worries and distress would be foreign concepts.
My life would have been full and meaningful as I would have had you to fill
my heart. In the grand scheme of things what really would it have mattered?
90 years from now, the earlier times when I was lost and alone will not even
occupy space in my memory. The only memory that I will retain are the sweet
memories of our life, the great times we had, the loved we shared, the laughs
we laughed, the love we made, the life we made the world we shared, and the
important place we played in each others heart.
