Melancholic songs fill the air.
The lyrics dolefully reach out to me,
caressing my heart with understanding,
but the warmth of a human embrace
to ease the pain, is still absent.
Where is your embrace?
Devastated and alone, I struggle to rise
from the depths of sorrow and depression,
but I just don’t see a way back to happiness,
unless you are there to take my hand
once again, with love in your eyes.
Where is your hand?
In your absence,
Miss Misery is here to hold me.
