Waiting By The Phone. Wondering.
You have yet to call today.
I hold the phone and wait.
Wondering if you'll ease my mind.
Where are you?
What are you doing?
Here I sit alone again.
Another night without you.
You're so far away.
What are you thinking about?
Are you thinking about me?
I sent you the poems I wrote.
You'll have them tomorrow.
When you read them,
what will you think?
Will your heart be touched?
*sigh*
My mind said not to send the prose.
I would only set myself up for more pain.
I listened to my heart.
What are you listening to?
Will you listen to me?
Until I hear your voice again, I count the minutes
and hope the next one is the last before your call.
I just need you to talk to me. Indicate you care.
Will you call me tonight?
Will you care for me tonight?
I'm so confused and scared.
I don't know what's going to happen.
Another week until you return.
How will you act then?
What will you say?
Will you tell me you love me?
Will you show me you love me?
