behind the china cabinet

i tell him not to pity me for i am frail
we whisper our wishes to eachother
it is night and beneath the stars your eyes mingle with mine
we are not alone
they are all so beautiful
painted and warm
i sit behind the trees
and you say i have such nice ease
we play passing lust from lips to fingertips
but i walk away my dress straps falling down
you say let's go somewhere
and how i'd want to with your dove eyes
your almond cherry lips
the words you speak complete me nomatter what they say
you like solitude with my body
but words i speak will do no good for we haven't reached happiness and you
don't want me for more than what you see
at least now i can picture you loving me
