"Labyrinth"

“Labyrinth”

If you were a lock, I’d forge the key.
Or a code, I’d learn to decipher.
More complex then this, you are a man.

A labyrinth of paths, sharp turns, and hidden passages.
Your hedged walls: tall, laced with roses, latent with thorns.
Entrancing charm, enticing epicurean sensualism.
Bewitched by the mystery, drawn to this fervor.

So compelled, I reach out to find the essence of life that rules you.
A thorn prick, I lick the drop of blood from my finger tip.
I pause, reflect, come to terms.

Yes, I have grown to love the arcane impact of emotions your presence brings.
I dwell on the thought that with in me lies the passion and desire
that could unravel my labyrinthine man.
