Let Hearts Unite

Shall I lick my wounds
A thread stitch up the scar
While your image soars
I know not where you are

My wings seem depleted
Will they ever take flight
I write from my heart
Have you now lost sight

I here crashing waves
In a thunderous applause
I’m left feeling humble
Please tell me the cause

I’m lost in the thoughts
Where spirits once soared
Now here I’m floundering
My hearts been ignored

No excuses ,no pretends
My promise I did pledge
Spirits need to fly again
Come lift me from this ledge

Don’t sour the spirit
To you now I write
I’m opening up my soul
Please let our hearts unite
