Morgan, Me and the Sea.

When Morgan set his sights to sail the seven seas
he held my hand and promised percious gifts to me.
Alabaster, satins and silks, dimonds, gold and pearls
he set his sails to catch the waves when the winds began to whirl.
Treacherous storms he encountered and strange monsters of the sea.
I would wish upon the northern star to bring back my Morgan to me.
Years now I have waited and many a suitor has sworn
for dilegently I await Morgan and hear not of the love they have borne.
Morgan, I want not for diamonds, nor do I want for pearl seeds.
All that I wait for is the tide that will sail you back here to me.
One morn alone in the harbor through the mist a sail I did see,
I ran to the docks and held my breath, the man on the deck could it be?
So long I had not seen him, how if it's him will I know?
Then from the distance between us I felt Morgan lifting my soul.
Few riches he had captured, but all were precious to me,
But the best gift was worth all the waiting for his wife he ask me to be.
He thanked me for the gift that I gave, for waiting patiently,
by letting him live his dream of sailing the seven seas.
