What do you want from me?
I've tried so hard!
I've sent you cards through the mail,
given you the largest stuffed bear I've ever seen!

What is it that I'm not giving you?
Attention, it's there.
Love,it's there.
Compassion, it's there.
Time, friendship and my life,
it's all there.
Only waiting for you to realize
exactly what you've got.

I never ask you to buy me things.
I never ask you for money.  
I never ask you for anything,
only Love and Respect,
and all you do is fill me with emty promises!

It's not your fault though,
afterall,
I'm the one that puts up with it!
